2024 Cattlemen’s Congress Grand Champion Pen of 3 Braunvieh Bulls
We were proud of these three spring born bulls that were the Grand Champion Cattlemen’s Congress Pen of 3 at 10 months of age. BLC Dream Weaver 711L, who anchored the pen, is a BLC High Noon 624J son that was champion bull last fall at Tulsa. BLC Kanza Dreamer 712L and BLC EZ Dream 270L are both sons of BLC EZ Sleep 811G. This is a pen of calving ease specialists with style and moderate growth.

The Grand Champion Female at the 2018 Tulsa State Fair was SG Witchy 956E, bred by Brink Livestock and shown by Jordyn Walker. Three weeks later, Witchy was named Grand Champion in the American Royal Braunvieh Junior Show and Reserve Grand Champion in the Open Show. 
The 2018 Tulsa State Fair Reserve Grand Champion Braunvieh heifer was BLC Dorothy 316E, bred by Brink Livestock and shown by Jordyn Walker.
BLC Warlock 462F, bred, raised and shown by Brink Livestock, was the reserve grand champion bull at the 2018 Tulsa State Fair.
Four Times Grand Champion Braunvieh Bull, and those are the only four shows where he competed. Bred, born and raised at Brink Livestock, BLC Toronto 618D was National Grand Champion Braunvieh at the American Royal in October 2017. He was also Grand Champion at the 2017 Tulsa State Fair, 2018 Denver Stock Show and 2018 Ft. Worth Stock Show. This Wizard of Oz son is what we were looking for… the right structure, the right pedigree, the right numbers, the right temperament and he’s homozygous polled. BLC Dorothy of Oz 471D was selected National Grand Champion Braunvieh heifer at the American Royal in October 2017 and then Reserve Grand Champion heifer a the National Western in Denver in January 2018. Dorothy is a home-raised heifer sired by our Wizard of Oz bull and out of our favorite cow family.
BLC Romeo 241E had the honor of winning Reserve Grand Champion Braunvieh Bull at the Denver Stock Show in January 2018. Less than a week later, he repeated the feat as the Reserve Grand Champion Bull at the Ft. Worth Stock Show. He is also the reigning National Junior Calf Champion Bull, having won that honor in Kansas City in October 2017. Romeo was raised here on our ranch and is a son of Wizard of Oz.
BLC Gallant 524D was named Grand Champion Braunvieh Bull at the 2017 National Western Stock Show in Denver. He sold in the Ft. Worth National Braunvieh Sale to Pepe Guerra of KQ Cattle Co.
BLU BLC JBB Parson 451D ET won the Reserve Grand Champion Bull honors at the 2017 National Western Stock Show. He was purchased by Mike Farmer in the Ft. Worth National Braunvieh Sale.
Blond Expresso 901C was selected Grand Champion Braunvieh Heifer at the 2017 National Western Stock Show.
BLC Carefree 522D won the Reserve Grand Champion Heifer Banner at the 2017 National Western Stock Show.
SG Blond Expresso 901C was named Reserve Grand Champion Braunvieh Heifer at the 2016 Tulsa State Fair. Congratulations to Megyn Walker on showing this champion.
BLC Loyalti 001B continued her winning ways as Grand Champion Braunvieh Heifer at the 2016 National Western Stock Show in Denver. Congrats to Jordyn Walker on showing this beauty.
We were proud of our April bull calf, BLC Outrider 571C, who was the Reserve Grand Champion Beef Builder Braunvieh Bull at the National Western in Denver. Thanks to the Armintrouts of Darkside Braunvieh for purchasing him last fall.

BLC Carefree 316A – Grand Champion Heifer and Junior Calf Champion at the National Braunvieh Show held at the 2014 National Western Stock Show in Denver. This Undaunted daughter was bred at Brink Livestock and is a Walker granddaughter.
BLC Carefree 116A – Reserve Junior Calf Champion Heifer at the National Braunvieh Show held at the 2014 National Western Stock Show in Denver. She is also an Undaunted daughter and is a 3/4 sister to the Denver Grand Champion pictured above.

BLC Vader’s Leia 516Y – 2013 Denver Reserve Junior Champion Heifer sired by BLC Dark Vader. Thanks to Tommy Bean for purchasing her in the Ft. Worth National Braunvieh Sale.
BLC Saca 001Z – 2013 Denver Reserve Junior Calf Champion Heifer. She is sired by our herd bull MHF Captain Clark W911.
